Websites like Expat Living, ClassPass, and even AsiaOne have been making their own listicles of who is the best chiropractor in Singapore. I feel like I should jump on the trend and also do the same! Needless to say, my opinions here are subjective and biased.
In Singapore, chiropractic clinics are adjustments-focused. In terms of treatment or recovery options wise, Square One Active Recovery is still fairly unique with a blend of exercise, education, and coaching. Some of my clients compare my sessions to è¡¥ä¹ (i.e., tuition). They also refer to the end of the session as 下课 (i.e., end of a class).
I have only listed a few clinics below. If there is any specific places you want me to look into, do let me know. Will be happy to check them out.
Why do the same chiropractic clinics tend to appear in listicles?
When we look at publication featuring a list of chiropractic clinics in Singapore, you tend to see the same businesses appearing over and over again. If you are wondering why, it’s usually because it’s market of their broader marketing campaign.
Rather than doing their own testing and making recommendations on the chiropractors, these spots are sold by media publications to chiropractors. Often at a very hefty fee!
This is generally the case with most media companies in Singapore. If you remember, Seth Lui was accused of not disclosing paid food reviews on his website. A mention on his website will cost $2,300 and additional $400 to $600 to be listed in the top position. These listings are only guaranteed for a year.
Expat Living, I am assuming with a far less readership than sethlui.com was charging $1,800 for an editorial and $1,600 for top listing in an editorial.
All the listings featured in this post are based on my personal opinions. They are not a professional assessment to if they are component chiropractors. All spots in this article is also unpaid.
Square One Active Recovery
Of course when I am publishing a listicle on my own website, I have to give myself a shameless plug. To say I am the best chiropractor in Singapore, however, is pushing it too far.
What I can tell you is that we focus on delivering long-term results at Square One Active Recovery. We work with our clients with exercise, lifestyle change, nutrition, sometimes life coaching even, to get them on the right track. If it sounds like something you are after, sure, I could potentially be the best chiropractor in Singapore *for you*.
We all have our biases. You may be looking at chiropractic treatment cos you absolutely cannot stand mainstream medical care. Some people are the reverse. Just take a look at Reddit. There are so many users out there trying to talk people out of chiropractic.
Ultimately, we all have our own beliefs and values. When choosing a so-called best chiropractor, the one who fits best to what you are looking for will be the best for you.

Reform Chiropractic
First up on the list, we have David Tran from Reform Chiropractic. He started his practice with his now-wife in Serangoon. I am not close to them but have met them a few times.
Both David and Stephanie are honestly very down to earth people. From what I know, the exercise regularly and honestly have a very holistic attitude towards health and physical well-being.
I remembered David installing a squat rack and weights section in his clinic when he first set it up. While this may not sound like a big deal, it was definitely not common practice then. Exercise rehabilitation brings in less revenue than offering chiropractic adjustments alone. Demand for exercise therapy, especially back then, was very poor.
Furthermore, exercise equipment takes up floor space! Any chiropractor with a dedicated exercise section in their clinic, imo, priortise their patients’ well-being over profits.
I don’t think they still have the squat rack but they do offer clinical pilates as well as functional/rehab therapy. Each session (30 minutes) is $120.
For regular adjustments, the fee is $95 per session though I believe packages are available as well.

Jessie Lim at Live Well Chiropractic
I am not familiar with the other practitioners at Live Well Chiropractic. But Jessie, I am very familiar with. haha! Jessie was actually my classmate at chiropractic school. We spent years training together and, yes, she has adjusted my neck (and entire spine) countless times.
In fact, I have sneaked into her treatment room before clinical session for a quick adjustment before. Needless to say, I trust her spinal manipulation skills.
While it’s been years since we caught up, I can only imagine her adjusting skills her getting better. If you are looking for more hands-on therapy, you definitely would want to shortlist her in your considerations.
P. S., she has wicked soft tissue skills!
Chiropractic skills aside, she is an amazing person. I know this sounds super subjective and bias, but I think having a practitioner with strong values and ethics is very important. While we may have different approaches when it comes to clinical care, I can guarantee she always has the best patient’s interest in mind.
The other thing that I really like about Jessie is that she really struggles to lie. That’s like big plus plus in what you want to look for in a chiropractor. An honest chiropractor may not tell you what you want to hear, but will likely be what you need to hear.
Services at Live Well Chiropractic
Besides chiropractic adjustments, Live Well also offer spinal decompression therapy, shockwave therapy, spinal orthotics, functional rehabilitation, etc.
Even though Live Well does seem to focus on spinal adjustments, they seem to have a dedicated exercise area. Based on what I see on their website, they have resistance bands, bosu ball, gym balls, and even a squat rack!
Live Well Chiropractic has four locations at Sengkang, Bedok, Potong Pasir, and Toa Payoh.
Onsite Health
Onsite Health gets a mention because they have come a long way. I think they started as corporate wellness or corporate health company, but now has clinical offerings to everyday Singaporeans as well. They also don’t have a huge online presence cos they just do their own little quiet thing. I think they are definitely worth looking into in your search for a chiropractor.
I am not familiar with most of their team but do have impressions of their founder Micaiah Meuer, and also Jeff Cheung. From what I remember, they are largely evidence-based and offer mixed modalities in their practice. In other words, they do both passive and active care.
According to their website, Micaiah does dry needling, Active Release Technique (ART), and Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA). Jeff does rehabilitation, movement health, posture, and ergonomics.
OnSite Health has three locations at Novena, Buona Vista, and Raffles Place.
Melanie Tjahaja at One Spine Chiropractic
Melanie was my senior at Murdoch University. She was the student-clinician who treated my dad when he visited Perth, and he absolutely loved her. More so than the other chiropractors he had seen in Singapore!
If you are looking for a chiropractor with a soft touch, Melanie is definitely the person to go to. She’s incredibly empathetic and has … what I would call a therapist voice. lol.
Her adjustments skills is also top notch and not heavy handed.
The only downside, I think, there is little to no active care component at One Spine Chiropractic. From what I see on their website, they mainly focus on passive care such as adjustments and spinal decompression therapy.
I personally don’t subscribe to this model of care. They are also not considered first-line treatments for management of virtually all muscle and joint aches. However, if you that’s what you are looking for, definitely check them out.
One Spine has two locations at Clementi and Bedok.
