Why don't you perform spinal adjustments or 'cracking'?
While “cracking” can provide temporary relief, it does not address the root cause of chronic pain. We prioritise Active Recovery because evidence shows that building strength and movement resilience leads to long-term freedom from pain, rather than a lifetime of weekly adjustments.
How many sessions will I need to see results?
Our goal is to make ourselves redundant. Most patients see significant improvement within 4 to 7 sessions. Chronic cases may require 3-4 months for full neuromuscular adaptation. We don’t do ‘maintenance’—we do permanent results.
Do I need to sign up for a 20 or 30-session maintenance package?
Absolutely not. We are fundamentally opposed to the “package-selling” culture standard in Singapore. We don’t believe in “locking you in” for lifetime maintenance—we believe in building a body that is strong enough to not need us as quickly as possible.
Is Square One suitable for beginners with no exercise background?
Absolutely. Whether you are an athlete or have never stepped into a studio, our programs are bespoke. We use Clinical Pilates and functional movement as medicine to rebuild your confidence without the ‘no pain, no gain’ mentality.
Do I need an X-ray or MRI before my first visit?
In most chronic pain cases, imaging does not correlate with the pain experienced. We conduct a thorough biopsychosocial assessment first. If we suspect a “red flag,” we will refer you out, but most can start recovery without an expensive scan.
