Our secrets to raving Google reviews: Best exercise programme in Singapore

We started running Facebook ads recently and we had quite a few people asking about what they can expect from our programmes. This is when we usually direct them to our Google reviews. The reason is simple: our clients are the best people for you to hear from.

There are a few things that make how we practise special. Today, we’ll attempt to address some of them.

We are brutally honest; even if it hurts a bit.

There is tons of research on how healthcare has become more service-oriented these days that some chiropractors or even physiotherapists have forgotten their main duty is to help our clients. Not to make them happy.

This is not something that I am pulling out of thin air. There are peer reviewed articles published on this topic. In fact, a study had previously found that satisfied patients were significantly more likely to die in the next four years.

We are not saying we don’t care about you. We do. Enough for us to care about your long-term outcomes, and what needs to happen for you to achieve your recovery goals.

We expect you to do your own homework.

Not just home exercises! Sometimes, we get people who indicated interest in our services, and expect us to upsell our services to them. We don’t do that. Because we believe in informed decision making.

Of course we will help you with your research. We can provide you with resources to read up on, we can help to discuss some of the more complicated and difficult to navigate treatment-related questions. Ultimately though, you have to decide for yourself if we are a good fit.

At the end of the day, this is your money and your body we are dealing with! The only person who gets to make any decision on that is you. And we respect that enough to not hard sell you or oversell our services to you.

That’s not because we don’t want your business. It’s because we want you to decide if we are a good fit for you yourself.

We don’t make assumptions.

One of the most popular questions we get is “what’s wrong with me?” Yes, we get that you love to know your diagnosis. The problem with preliminary diagnosis is that they are almost never right, and often lead us down the wrong rabbit hole.

Think about how many chiropractors, physiotherapists, TCM practitioners who have claimed to know what your problem is. And how many of them actually manage to successful treat your problem?

I am guessing none. Because if they did, you wouldn’t be here reading this.

We are happy to discuss what are the probable diagnosis. In clinical setting, we call them differential diagnosis. The fact is that our working diagnosis change all the time. It’s impossible for anybody to know what is going on from a single assessment. It takes time to understand how your body works, and what your body responds to.

Once you have achieved symptom resolution, and attain what we consider a good state of physical health, we can retrospectively deduce what is your diagnosis.

Yes, we know it’s frustrating for you. You want a clean answer to what’s your problem. Well, that in itself is a problem. Because, quite simply, there’s no way we can be sure until you are 100% recovered.

We do lots of testing.

recovery roadmapJust because we are unwilling to commit to a diagnosis at the start doesn’t mean we don’t care what’s wrong with you. We do.

A lot of our work is focus on testing. What we want to figure out are the patterns in your symptom experience.

If we were to make you do X, what happens to your body or your symptom experience? Does it improve? If so, by how much?

What happens if we double it (X)? Does the positive responding double, or quadruple?

Since you are doing so well, how about we add X + Y? What happens now?

Through a rigorous process of experimenting with various exercises, movements, loads, and volume, and observing your response, we are able to start predicting how your body behaves. In doing so, we can start to trend out a recovery programme that is genuinely personalised for you.

You get amazing results.

This is one of clients at her first week of her 12-week programme. She is practising how to do a turkish get-up with her friend after the end of session. And she initiated to do this on her own!

One of the reasons why our programme is better than others is because we create a safe space that gives people the confidence to explore their body. In other ways, we help you help yourself get better.

Our programme is not a case of you coming in to get a good sweat and then heading off to your usual lifestyle. We encourage our clients to work with us to create meaningful change in their lives. This whole-person approach means more inside-out recovery that yields amazing recovery outcomes.

You need to start at some point.

Yes, we know you are shopping for a chiropractor, and you haven’t quite decided on one. That’s fair. However, you would have to start to get started with your recovery.

The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step, yes?

We understand our approach is totally unorthodox. This is possibly also why we are able to deliver extraordinary results! We are not doing what every average chiropractor in Singapore is doing.

Drop us a message via the form below to find out more about how we can help you help yourself find freedom from pain!
